Italy, Portugal, Chile, Tokyo, Spain, Azerbaijan, Athens, Bulgaria, Israel, Russia – Carl Sandburg High School Class of 2019 graduate and two-time Olympian, Evita Griskenas has traveled the world, competing in rhythmic gymnastics. Currently, she is in Paris, France, and is scheduled to compete in rhythmic gymnastics beginning August 8 for Team USA.

A recent graduate of Columbia University of New York, she earned a degree in Psychology. According to her Olympic profile, she began gymnastics in 2004, saying “I saw rhythmic on the TV and fell in love with it. I begged my mom to go and have been in it ever since.”
