Clubs & Activities

Welcome to Carl Sandburg Student Activities

We currently have over 70 different clubs available to our students, providing a wide array of opportunities - most certainly something for everyone. We strongly encourage all of our students to explore their options and get involved in at least one student club or activity. Studies have shown that the single most accurate predictor of success in life is the degree of involvement a person has had in high school co-curricular programs. Get involved in Sandburg TODAY!

HONORS SOCIETIES

Honors Societies Clubs recognize students who excel academically or as leaders among their peers in specific academic disciplines.  These societies invite students to become members based on the scholastic rank (top 10 percent of a class) and/or grade point averages of those students, either overall or for classes taken within the discipline of which the honor society provides recognition.

OCCUPATIONAL CLUBS

Occupational Clubs offer opportunities for students to participate in real world workforce scenarios and to prepare for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, and for further education.
