Mathletes is a competitive IHSA academic team in which students compete against other schools to determine which school reigns supreme in the field of Mathematics.  Students prepare by studying specific, focused mathematical topics such as factoring or systems of equations.  At contests, students take a written test to determine placement and contest finish.  Mathematical aptitude is preferred, but anyone with an interest in the subject can excel.
