La Constitución de la Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica

The purpose of this organization is to recognize high student achievement in Spanish and to promote a continuity of interest in Hispanic Studies at Carl Sandburg High School.

Qualifications for Membership

Students must be a Senior for the 2024-2025 school year, currently taking Spanish 4, Honors Spanish 4, Spanish 5, AP Spanish Language and Culture or AP Spanish Literature and Culture and intend on continuing Spanish studies until graduation. Students must currently have an overall average of 3.5 or higher and must have received a minimum grade of a A- (89.5%) for each semester of all Spanish classes  and must have been enrolled in Spanish every year of high school previously completed at Carl Sandburg H.S. or another high school. In addition to having an honor average in Spanish, students must display character, leadership, seriousness of purpose, and service/commitment to others.
