How to Fulfill the FAFSA Graduation Requirement

Seniors are required to complete one of the following items for graduation:

  1. Complete the FAFSA:  fafsa.gov

  2. Complete the Alternative Application for eligible non-citizens: here

  3. Submit a non-participation form (see counselor)

Additional Financial Aid Resources

Please remember, you don’t have to pay anyone to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If you need any assistance, there are numerous free workshops throughout the state where students and families can go to fill out the FAFSA. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) works with students and families on the financial aid process. They offer workshops, including financial aid presentations and other outreach events on their website.
