The Physical Education, Health, and Driver Education Department is committed to enhancing students' overall well-being through a holistic curriculum. Our programs are designed to develop physical fitness, health skills & literacy, and safe driving skills that will prepare our students for a balanced and responsible lifestyle.

Our Physical Education program focuses on building physical fitness, sport skill development, and rigorous physical activity across all grade levels. Students engage in various activities that promote motor skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and lifelong fitness skill development. Electives available to students include Adaptive Physical Education, Adventure Education I & II, Dance I & II, Fitness & Nutrition, PEOPEL, Strength & Conditioning, Physical Education Leaders, Personal Training, Sports Officiating, and Swim/Lifeguard.

Health Education provides our students with crucial knowledge and information to help all of our students maximize their overall health. Units of study include Wellness, Mental Emotional Social Health, Body Systems, Diseases, Fitness & Nutrition, Alcohol-Tobacco-Other Drugs, and Human Growth & Development. The Health Education curriculum provides students with the tools to make healthy decisions and to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Driver Education includes both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training. Classroom lessons cover rules of the road, safety practices, and driver responsibilities, while practical driving sessions develop essential skills for safe vehicle operation. Students experience basic skill driving, residential driving, urban driving, rural driving and expressway driving experiences. This comprehensive approach ensures students are well-prepared for both their written and driving tests.
